Romans 1:16 NKJV

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

Good morning, friends.

Some words never lose their force. This verse from Paul is one of them. It’s a declaration that reveals who we are, not just what we believe. “I am not ashamed of the gospel.” Why? Because it is the power of God. The Gospel is not merely a story about power, a piece of advice, or a human philosophy; it is the power of God, the very means by which He saves.

Paul had faced beatings, imprisonments, ridicule, and rejection for this message, but he had no intention of hiding it. The Gospel wasn’t a source of embarrassment; it was the lifeline of grace for a world drowning in sin. And he believed, deeply, that it was for everyone. No cultural or social boundary could block its reach.

There’s something freeing here. We don’t have to defend the Gospel like it’s fragile. We don’t have to dress it up to make it more acceptable. We simply have to be unashamed of it, because when it’s spoken, it works. It has power. Still today.

The Gospel doesn’t need to be softened or sold; it needs to be shared with boldness and love.

Today’s Reflection:

Where have you been tempted to keep quiet about your faith? What would it look like to live today unashamed of the Gospel?

Closing Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for the power of Your Gospel. Give me courage today to live unashamed. Help me not to shrink back when I have a chance to speak of You. Let Your love be what defines me, and may my boldness come from knowing just how good Your news really is.
